The Dos and Don'ts for Integrating iPads

A great article discussing the implementation of iPads in the classroom. It is especially eye opening to read some of the reasons teachers do not use iPads in their classroom's even though they are readily available. Most of the examples highlighted in the article are the same complaints teachers in my school use even though every student has a laptop. Interesting read.
I'm taking this masters program to keep up with the real world classroom. But having been in the classroom for 21 years, I can see where teacher who do not have the background in technology would shy away from it. In a typical school district, the technology training in the beginning is minimal, they hand out the hardware/software to be used, and then hope teachers catch on to effectively using it. So I can see why some are reluctant to integrate any new technology.
